Japanese Tea Mocktail: ISSO Sencha Mojito

Have you heard of the word "mocktail"? A mocktail is a non-alcoholic cocktail, perfect for those who don't drink alcohol or want a healthier option. Mocktails made with ISSO TEA combine the refined taste of high-quality Japanese tea with other ingredients, creating a refreshing beverage that can be enjoyed during tea time or as a relaxing drink in the evening.

Today, we’re sharing a recipe for an ISSO Sencha Mojito mocktail.

ISSO Sencha Mojito Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Cold-brewed Sencha (ISSO Signature Sencha or Yutaka Midori Sencha): 210ml
  • Lime (cut into wedges): 2 pieces
  • Mint leaves: 10 leaves
  • Brown sugar: 1.5 teaspoons
  • Ice cubes
  • Glass
1. Prepare the cold-brewed Sencha. Please refer to the instructions here.

2. Add the lime, mint, and brown sugar to a glass, and mash them gently with a muddler or fork.
3. Add ice and pour the cold-brewed Sencha into the glass.

4. Stir lightly and garnish with mint leaves.

For those who enjoy a fizzy twist, you can reduce the amount of cold-brewed Sencha slightly and top it off with sparkling water to your liking.

You can find our ISSO Signature Sencha here and Yutaka Midori Sencha here.

As the hot days linger, enjoy this refreshing drink to soothe your body and mind.
