ISSO Yutaka Midori Sencha tea bags are packaged in a can along with a beautifully colored flavor card, ISSO TEA CARD. The cards are written in Japanese and English and are designed to bring the joy of Japanese tea to people both in Japan and overseas in modern life. The tin cans are made by a long-established store in Kyoto and can be used for a long time as containers for refilling tea leaves.

ISSO Yutaka Midori Sencha, a rare product that allows you to enjoy the uniqueness of the variety in organic tea, is cultivated in the warm climate of Kagoshima Prefecture. We deep-steamed and roasted over high heat to bring out the aroma, richness, and sweet taste of the Yutaka Midori variety. Before harvesting, a black covering is loosely placed over the tea leaves to bring out the umami and sweetness, suppress the bitterness, and turn the light blue into a beautiful dark green. Because this tea is a variety with a lot of umami, you can enjoy a mellower, richer flavor and rich aroma compared to regular tea made from the Yabukita variety.
