About the tea canister

Yutaka Midori Sencha

ISSO Yutaka Midori Sencha is a rare organic tea that allows you to enjoy the individuality of the variety. It is grown in the warm climate of Kagoshima Prefecture and other areas. The Yutaka Midori variety's aroma, richness, and sweetness are fully brought out by deep steaming and roasting over high heat. Before harvesting, the tea leaves are loosely covered with a black covering to bring out the umami and sweetness, suppress astringency, and give the tea a beautiful deep green color. As this is a variety of tea with a lot of umami, you can enjoy a mellow, rich flavor and mellow aroma compared to regular tea made with the Yabukita variety.

Black Bean Hojicha

ISSO Black Bean Hojicha is a luxurious combination of Shukukuro black beans, blessed with the majestic nature and mineral-rich mountain waters of Hokkaido, and only the stems of rare organic first-grade tea. Shukukuro beans are plump, large, and sweet, with a mellow aroma, flavor, and deep richness. They are grown carefully by hand, and harvesting is done to minimize loss. For Hojicha, selected stems are slowly roasted in a specially developed far-infrared roaster to bring out the elegant and sweet aroma.
