Matcha Latte Recipe | An Exceptional Cup with ISSO Ceremonial Grade Matcha
ISSO Ceremonial Grade Matcha is one of Japan’s finest organic matcha, enjoyed even in traditional tea ceremonies. It is distinguished by its elegant, refined aroma, pronounced umami, rich depth, beautifully deep green color, and soft, velvety foam.

While it is exceptional when prepared traditionally with hot water, it also retains its unmistakable presence when crafted into a latte.
Today, we are pleased to introduce a hot matcha latte recipe that you can easily enjoy at home.

ISSO Hot Matcha Latte
Ingredients
-
ISSO Ceremonial Grade Matcha: 3g (about 3 teaspoons)
-
Milk (dairy, almond, soy, oat, etc.): 160ml
-
Hot water (approx. 80°C / 176°F): 50ml
-
(Bamboo whisk)
-
Milk frother
For 2g of matcha (approx. 2 teaspoons), we recommend using 100ml of milk and 30ml of hot water.
Instructions
1. Prepare the matcha
Place the matcha in a cup and pour in hot water.
Whisk well using a bamboo whisk or a milk frother until smooth and fully blended.
Add sugar or syrup to taste, if desired.

2. Warm and froth the milk
Heat the milk in a small saucepan.
Froth until it becomes light and finely textured.

3. Finish
Gently pour the warmed milk into the prepared matcha.
Serve and enjoy.

The soft aroma rising from the cup.
The silky texture and mellow sweetness.
And the refined umami that lingers on the finish.
Each sip leaves a delicate, lasting impression through its fine foam.
Because the authentic character of matcha is carefully preserved, its depth remains even in a latte.
