Introducing ISSO Hojibo Roasted Tea
Today, we're pleased to introduce ISSO Hojibo Roasted Tea, a tea that fits effortlessly into various settings.
ISSO Hojibo Roasted Tea features a unique “stems tea,” made specifically from the stems of the tea plant. Organically grown first-harvest tea itself is a rarity, and this tea is crafted from the top 5% of those organic tea stems, making it exceptionally special.
Using only carefully selected stems from this premium first harvest, ISSO Hojibo Roasted Tea is gently roasted in a custom-developed far-infrared roaster, where the tea is lightly toasted from the core. This unique roasting process brings out the tea’s clear amber color and its elegant, aromatic flavor.
Enjoy the tea hot with 100°C boiling water or chilled with a cold-brew for a refreshing experience.
Whether you prefer it hot or cold, ISSO Hojibo Roasted Tea offers both convenience and depth of flavor. Brew it with 100°C boiling water for a warm, comforting drink, or try cold-brewing for a refreshing, chilled experience—both bringing out the tea's nuanced taste.
[About ISSO Hojibo Roasted Tea]
Our ISSO HOJIBO ROASTED ORGANIC GREEN TEA is made exclusively from the rare tea leaf stems of the season's first-flush (initial picking) harvest. Our masters then carefully engage in an elaborate, slow-core roasting process, employing far-infrared rays in a custom-built roaster, which enhances the tea’s natural sweetness and umami. Following this, the tea is subjected to an additional sorting stage, separating larger stems from smaller ones, ensuring a uniform expansion and a fluffy texture upon brewing. Our specialized shallow roasting technique endows our Hojibo Roasted Tea with a distinctive aroma and a pure, unadulterated flavor, while also imparting a clear, amber appearance to the brew.
