Osechi has its roots in traditional celebrations marking seasonal milestones.
Each dish carries wishes for the year ahead—

Ozoni is also an essential part of the New Year’s table.
Its ingredients and flavors vary from region to region,
reflecting local culture and ways of life.
Made with rice cakes once offered to the Toshigami deity,
ozoni is a long-standing custom that expresses prayers
for health and happiness in the year to come.

For the first cup of the year, we chose
ISSO Signature Sencha.

Selected from organic Japanese tea leaves of the highest quality,
this “signature” tea is carefully blended and roasted by master tea artisans,
bringing out the distinctive character, flavor, and aroma
of each origin and cultivar to their fullest expression.

Crafted with a focus on harmony and depth,
it also delights with its clear, beautiful liquor.
